How it all started...

In 1988, Marc van den Heuvel has expanded from a small antiques business to a company encompassing a 2000m2 space. He is rightly so the proud owner of ‘Heuvel Antiek BV’ that he was able to build up greatly due to the help of his parents. The wide assortment and large stock that you find here is reviewed every fortnight. Marc imports a lot of antiques from Eastern Europe and by buying up complete household effects he can obtain better prices and has a large amount of curiosa and unique antiques.

Heuvel Antiek BV specialises in antique building and decorative materials, furniture in old pine, oak and mahogany from the 19th and early 20th century. Alongside Eastern European you will also find French and Dutch antiques. There are only original pieces to be found here and no reproductions. Marc buys only pieces of quality that require little or no restoration. In this way he can be totally honest with his clients. The price too is very competitive.

At Heuvel Antiek BV there is a great importance placed on the easy going atmosphere and it is therefore possible to have a look around at your leisure. Despite the large floor space the atmosphere remains intimate and cosy. By the little pond in the centre of the shop it’s possible to settle down for a fresh Brabants cup of coffee and then to continue with your search among the antique cupboards, clocks, tables and chairs, 19th and 20th century paraphernalia, collectables and finally the Bakelite museum. A warm shop where you will very likely find something to your taste.
